To sign up for grading, you need a CKF membership. If you don’t have one already, go to https://ckf.justgo.com/ and click on the “Sign Up” button. Fill in the form and click the “Sign Up” button. Make very sure your email address is correct. After that you will get a page of opt-in preferences. You should check the box for “I agree to receive news and information relevant to Kendo Discipline”. Then click the “Accept and Continue” button.
Check your email for a message from support@kendo-canada.com. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. It will contain a line that says “Please click here to verify your Email Address”. Click on the word here to verify. It should take you to the justgo site and tell you that you are verified.
Log in to your account and click on “Membership”. You will have two options. One says “adult” or “junior”, the other says “visiting member”. Click on “adult” or “junior”. Fill out the form you see. At the bottom it will say “Choose a club”. Pick Saskatoon Kendo Club. Under discipline, select kendo. After everything is done, click on “Finish”. A window will pop up and say your membership has been added to your cart. Go to the cart, click on “pay with card” and follow the instructions.
From your account page, you will see where it says “My Clubs” on the right. You should see an entry for Saskatoon Kendo Club that says “pending approval”. You now have to wait for me to approve it. When you are approved, you will get an email saying you are approved. If you do not receive an email before the next class, remind me in class to approve you.
